Watches of Knightsbridge will be auctioning a Breitling Replica Navitimer to raise money for the Douglas Bader Foundation.
No single pilot represented the heroism of the Battle of Britain more than Douglas Bader, but his greatest work was in his work for the disabled, a service for which he was knighted in 1976. The special edition that fake Breitling watches of Knightsbridge will auctioning will raise funds for the Douglas Bader Foundation’s Bader Braves programme. Bader Braves supports children with limb loss and other physical disabilities by offering unique experiences, such as experiencing flight in a light aircraft through their Young Aviators Days and improving life-skills on Adventure Weekends to increase their confidence.

The special edition, one of four, is presented in a unique Breitling replica watches wooden box with the lid engraved with Douglas Bader’s signature and 242 Squadron on the lid. Inside are a specially engraved Replica Breitling Navitimer donated by the company, a pair of cufflinks engraved with 242 Squadron’s famous “Booting Hitler in the breeches” nose cone emblem (242 Squadron was Bader’s first war time command and the design is copied from a pair that Bader owned) and a 1944 Merlin engine valve.
